To the Imaginary Space Form Shall Be Given

As the last and ultimate enhancement of a library, the two „When we” sentences appear on the wall in bold letters as a mural. A monitor continually plays two alternating video sequences -„Form Shall Be Given to lmaginary Space”. In front of the monitor is the book „Wenn wir”.

lt could be taken up. While a person is thumbing through the book and reading, his or her mind might register the light of the color bars.

„…in the act of decoding / new page / our imagination gropes / new page /in an imaginary space / new page / white /in the act of decoding / our imagination gropes /in an imaginary space / amber /in the act of decoding / our imagination gropes /in an imaginary space / cyan /in the act of decoding / our imagination gropes /in an imaginary space / green /in the act of decoding / our imagination gropes /in an imaginary space / magenta /in the act of decoding / our imagination gropes / in an imaginary space / red / in the act of decoding / our imagination gropes / in an imaginary space / blue /in the act of decoding / our imagination gropes / in an imaginary space / black / in the act of decoding / our imagination gropes /in an imaginary space / white …”

Within the same perceptions that normally guide the mind wherever it moves, it is here brought into the underlying world-feigning execution.

“When we read >world<, as we do at this moment, we imagine an imaginary world. In this manner we imagine an entire world. When we watch TV, we see controlled luminescence. In this manner we see an entire world.”
